FAQs
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you accept new patients?
We always happily accept new patients! Give us a call and we will
set up an initial consultation. Please bring a list of the medications you are taking. You can also bring any x-rays taken at your previous dental office or, if it is easier for you, provide us with the details of your prior clinic so that we can get them. You should also bring your insurance information so we can begin submitting claims on your behalf right away.
Do you treat children?
Of course! We treat patients of all ages. We begin seeing children as young as 6 months of age to start getting them used to visiting the dentist and to ensure their baby teeth are growing as they should.
How often should I book regular check-up and cleaning appointments?
We recommend booking check-ups and cleaning appointments every three to six months. We will recommend a schedule based on your needs to lower your risk of developing dental problems. This will allow us to detect issues before they worsen and determine proper treatment plans. We can also use proper dental tools to remove stubborn plaque and tartar that cannot be removed at home. It is important to continue brushing and flossing daily to maintain your oral hygiene.
What services does Concourse Dental Group provide?
We provide a full range of general dentistry services such as preventive care like check-ups and cleaning; restorative work including dental fillings, crowns, implant crowns, and bridges; and cosmetic dentistry such as teeth whitening and veneers.
How can I improve the appearance of my smile?
There are many options that will make you happier about your smile. These include whitening to improve the colour of your teeth. Veneers can be a good choice for discolouration that does not respond to bleaching, or for slightly misshapen teeth. Very often orthodontics are a more conservative option to veneers, in which case we will gladly refer you to one of our trusted orthodontist colleagues.
Are you an Invisalign® provider?
We do not offer Invisalign® in our office, but will be happy to see you for a consultation before referring you to an orthodontist.
I am anxious about dental visits. How can you make me feel more comfortable?
We want every patient to feel as comfortable as possible in our office from the moment they walk through our front doors. Our team is incredibly friendly, gentle, and understanding. We will ease your worries by explaining every step of your procedure to you. If you might benefit from sedation, we will refer to one of our experienced colleagues known as dental anaesthesiologists. These are dentists who have gone back to university to specialise in sedation.
Do you extract teeth at your office?
We do simple extractions and refer our patients to trusted oral surgeons for more complicated cases.
Have More Questions?
